HOW TO GET HERE

BY CAR - Highway A11 Florence - Pisa Nord. Exit to Montecatini terme, turn right and keep on to Monsummano Terme. After the first traffic light take the Highway tunnel and keep the first road on the right (Via delle Cantarelle -about 1km). At the end turn left and, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and turn right in via del Terzo and at the end of the street, turn right; after 20m there is the Fattoria Medicea Parking.

BY TRAIN - Arrive at the Train station of Montecatini/Monsummano Terme (which is located in MONTECATINI - 4 km from the Marathon) and, from there, reach MONSUMMANO Terme by BUS* or by SHUTTLE**

BY PLANE - Nearest airports: FLORENCE and PISA

From the airports, reach Montecatini/Monsummano TRAIN STATION (which is located in MONTECATINI) and, from there, reach MONSUMMANO Terme by BUS* or by SHUTTLE**

-From Florence (km 40) - Florence Airport

From airport you have 2 options:

1 - Take the bus to Montecatini: bus -stop in Via del Termine, in front at the airport (in the timetable, 5 minutes from P.zza Puccini bus stop) and take the LAZZI-line to Pistoia/Montecatini (see the timetable HERE and HERE- info 800277825-Blubus website) that arrives to Montecatini/Monsummano Train station (piazza Italia)

2 - Take bus to Florence train station and take a train(every 30 minutes) to Montecatini/Monsummano(45 minutes trip).

-From Pisa (km 55) - Pisa Airport

There are many trains (every hour) from Pisa Airport to Montecatini/Monsummano train station (1,40 hours trip) (Here you can find INFO).

There are also buses (changing in Lucca) from Pisa airport (see the timetable of Pisa-Lucca line and Lucca-Montecatini line).

*: To reach the marathon location (which is located in Monsummano) take the BUS-Line 53 from Piazza Italia (in front of the Train Station) to Monsummano Terme; buses are available every 30 minutes (from 6.oo am to 8.3o pm ORARIO).
